I'm really nervous about my race tomorrow. Right now, I'm sitting in a hotel room in St-Nicholas, frantically checking the weather and icing my leg. Here are the (potential) problems:
1. Hurricane Irene. Quebec City is presently under a rainfall warning AND a wind warning. They're calling for 30+km/h winds during the time when I'll be doing my race. Yay. They've already cancelled the marathon because of the weather, so I'll be checking the website before we head out tomorrow.
2. My hip really hurts. It hasn't gotten any better over the last couple days and now I can really feel it in my knee. The ice is making it feel a little better, but it's going to be a rough day tomorrow. Wish me luck!
